GODZILLA: A JEWISH BEAST

Mutually assured destruction between the East and the West has long been a concept in Judaism. This idea is described in Jewish eschatology as a great end times battle between two beasts. The Leviathan, symbolises Christianity, Rome, Edom, the West. The Behemoth represents the Muslims, and the East.

The concept of mutually assured destruction between East and West can also be seen in the 1954 Japanese film Gojira.

'Gojira' in Japanese was changed to "God-zilla". Godzilla, as a metaphor, represents America and its nuclear bombs dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima (unsurprisingly, these were also Jewish events).

The character Godzilla is the Leviathan, a sea serpent that emerges from the ocean following nuclear testing, who destroys a city of “6 million”, representing the famous “6 million” number often referenced by Jews. The number 6 million, is calculated by multiplying the 10 from the Sefirot by the number of letters in the Torah and Israelites that escaped Egypt (600,000).

The tradition of enumerating 10 is stated in the Sefer Yetzirah, "Ten sefirot of nothingness, ten and not nine, ten and not eleven" When the 600,000 souls of Israel, seen as 'pieces of the Divine', are multiplied by 'divine perfection' of the Sefirot, the result is Six Million. This is where the number 6 million comes from.

The fiery breath of Godzilla is a blue atomic radiation, a colour that symbolises both the protection of the Jewish people and a divine flame descending from heaven to consume the Gentiles.

"In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea." Isaiah 27:1 "And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it." Obadiah 1:18
